In addition to an elected President and Board of Trustees, the Village is supported by the work of several Commissions and Committees that offer expertise, recommendation and review. Adjudication Hearings

Hearings are held monthly or as needed to facilitate fair, efficient and convenient local resolution of fines and fees.


Celebration & Events (Vernon Hills Days) Committee

Board of Fire & Police Commissions

Conducts and approves the recruitment process for testing, interviewing, appointment and promotion of candidates for the Vernon Hills Police Department.

Joint Emergency Telephone Systems Board

Established by intergovernmental agreement to provide for the management and operation of a 911 emergency system.

Joint Review Board

Pageant Committee
