Festival Grounds
The festival grounds will be set up a little differently this year. There will be only one entrance located off Lakeview Parkway. The carnival rides and midway area will be at the south end of the grounds in the Rustoleum lot at the corner of Hawthorn and Lakeview Parkways, Perhaps the biggest change will be the position of the stage, which will moved a bit north and faced to the west, so those enjoying the free concerts can cross the bridge to sit on the island for a great view. Check the map that follows for more information.
Reminders – Security and Courtesy
Members of VHPD and other law enforcement agencies will have a presence at Vernon Hills Days, as they do at all of our celebrations. There will be a bag check at the entry point off Lakeview Parkway. No coolers or carry-ins of food or beverages. No pets. No firearms. No smoking or vaping. Concerts are free, however carnival activities, food and beverages require purchase. Those enjoying the refreshment tent will need a valid ID.
