The Lake County Clerk's Office provides results for all elections in Lake County. You may review all of the results on the Lake County Election Results webpage. Note that results will move from "Unofficial" to "Official" as provisional and mail-in ballots are added to the counts.
For the Village of Vernon Hills, newly elected positions are as follows:
- Incoming Village President is Thom Koch, Jr.
- Incoming Village Trustees are (in vote order) Michael Schenk, Craig M. Takaoka and Monica Lee Lundeen.
Thank you to these individuals, who will take their new roles during the May 6 Village Board Meeting.
Thank you, also, to all who have continued to step forward to serve. The Village of Vernon Hills is an amazing community. We have grown on the strength of our neighborhoods and our business community. We all enjoy the vibrancy of our restaurants and retailers. And we all benefit from the collaborative partnerships and the outstanding quality of our schools, park district, first responders and non-profit partners. Our strength and vitality are due to the efforts of those who came before and laid the groundwork for today.
