The Illinois Department of Transportation has notified the Village that Route 60 on the eastern outskirts of the Village will experience lane reductions as crews repair the bridge crossing the Des Plaines River. The project is slated to begin as soon as April 4, and last approximately eight to ten weeks, weather permitting. IDOT will repair joints and overlay a new bridge deck, which will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction. Expect delays. Drive safely.
