During the June 6 Village Board Meeting, Trustees will proclaim June 2023 as Pride Month in Vernon Hills.
The Village of Vernon Hills works to create a welcoming, inclusive, equitable, accepting and safe community for all people. The Village joins with municipalities and organizations around the world in proclaiming June as Pride Month. To that end, members of the community are charged with eliminating prejudice wherever it exists by accepting all residents as equal as we honor our diversity through this celebration of our LGBTQ+ community.
