Arbortheater Concerts


The Arbortheater is located at 50 S. Fairway Drive, just north of the Vernon Hills Athletic Complex (VHAC). This years concerts are held a Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m.. In case of rain the concerts will relocate at the Sullivan Center at 635 North Aspen Drive.

Concerts are open to the public and everyone is invited. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, and picnic basket and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

During the concerts the main parking lot is blocked off for handicap and seniors. Concert parking is in the Rogers Executive Park II parking lot adjacent to the Arbortheater. The Arbortheater can also be accessed on the bike path through Deerpath Park just north of the Castle.

Wednesday, July 22, 2020  "Midwest Dueling Pianos" Midwest Dueling Pianos is an interactive musical comedy experience that will have students singing, shouting, dancing and laughing. Students control the direction of the show by writing their favorite songs on request slips that they bring to the pianos. Young, energetic and exciting entertainers then perform these songs, while encouraging audience participation. The fact that many of their favorite rock, r&b and rap songs can be performed on the piano will leave students amazed.
Thursday, July 30, 2020 "School of Rock" The School of Rock Libertyville’s House Band cranks out fun, popular cover tunes from stages as large as Summerfest’s and as intimate as smaller festivals and local rock venues around Chicagoland. Made up of students from Lake County's premier rock performance school, the band astonishes audiences with the skills and virtuosity one would not expect from these amazing middle-school and high-school aged kids. The band’s repertoire continues to grow as they master more and more of music from rock’s past and present, all with the goal of pleasing audiences and having fun performing on stage.

The Jolly Ringwalds provide a fun, interactive experience for all age groups and boast some of the Chicago’s most in demand performers. 


Use the following directions to assist you in locating the Arbortheater.

From Route 60

Turn south on Fairway Drive (between Toys R Us and Target) and travel approximately 9/10 mile. The Arbortheater is located just before the entrance to the Athletic Complex.

From Route 45

Turn North on Fairway Drive (formerly Buffalo Grove Road) and travel approximately 1.1 miles. The Arbortheater is located just after you exit the Athletic Complex.
