Thom Koch Jr. was elected Village President in 2025. He served the Village as Trustee starting in 1993, until being elected President. A long-time teacher at Hawthorn District 73, he continues to coach and substitute teach. In addition to his work in the schools and on behalf of the Village, he is a member of the College of Lake County Southlake Advisory Board.
