Please help those in need by donating non-perishable food products, household and personal items to the Vernon/Libertyville Township Food Pantry

Fundraiser Concert by Paul Todd & Paul Todd Jr to welcome new pastor Father Ignatius Anaele with proceeds to benefit Knights of Columbus various Charities. Music genres: Rock, Standards, Broadway, Big Band, Jazz, Gospel, Christian, 80's Rock, etc.

CLC Community 50 Fest 

Hosted by the College of Lake County 
Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 6pm-9:30 pm 

The Lake County community is invited to CLC Community 50 Fest on Thursday, July 25, from 6-9:30 p.m. at the Grayslake Campus Tech Lawn. Summer fun awaits you on the lawn in front of the T building!  The community is invited to celebrate CLC’s 50 years with live music, inflatable structures for kids of all ages, games and food trucks. There also will be a car show organized by CLC automotive faculty and a fireworks show at dusk. Free and low-cost snacks, desserts and beverages will be on sale on the lawn.  Wear CLC gear from any year to be entered into a raffle, and CLC’s 50th Anniversary merchandise will be for sale. Bring your own blankets, lawn chairs and a non-perishable food or cash donation to the CLC SHARE pantry.  Admission is FREE and will happen rain or shine!

Zoning Board of Appeals Vacancy Announcement

The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) consists of seven members. Members are appointed by the Village President and confirmed by the Board of Trustees. Terms are five years.

The ZBA is scheduled to meet at 7:00PM on the third Thursday of every month if petitions of variances are pending. Generally, the ZBA meets five to seven times annually.

The powers and duties of the ZBA are specified in the Vernon Hills Zoning Ordinance and Illinois State Statues. The ZBA holds public hearings and makes recommendations to the Village Board on decisions and determinations made by Building Commissioner (Zoning Administrator) in the interpretation and enforcement of the Village Zoning, Development and Sign Ordinances.

Residents wishing to serve on the Zoning Board of Appeals are encouraged to send a letter of interest that outlines their qualifications to the attention of:
