Vernon Hills Food Drive

Please help those in need by donating non-perishable food products, household and personal items to the Vernon/Libertyville Township Food Pantry

If your organization would like to have a food drive and need a way to transport the collection items to the Township, please call Lisa at 847-918-3562 and we will arrange a pick up. 


BINGO
Vernon Hills American Legion Post 1247 will be hosting BINGO at the Vernon Hills Golf Course, 291 Evergreen Drive on the first Thursday of the month. The next event will be Thursday February 7 beginning at 6:30PM.  Proceeds go to support programs sponsored by the Post, such as the Wounded Warrior Project among others. A cash bar along with food is available from the Vernon Hills Golf Course Grill.

Playwriting 101: The Rooftop Lesson directed by Aaron Hernandez
The audience will become the students in this entertaining play. A teacher will be explaining the do’s and don’ts of playwriting using a variety of different scenarios.
 
15 Minutes of Clown Fame directed by Sofie Schmeltzer
Set in 2002, 15 Minutes of Clown Fame is a day in the life of Sam and Joe. Sam comes home, upset about her audition for American Idol. Joe needs to break the bad news to her: she can’t sing.
 
Boise, Idaho directed by Bella Pineda
A couple eats at a cafe. Chaos ensues when they find out they’re being narrated.
 
Post-Its (Notes on a Marriage) directed by Mia Stefani
Post Its explores the best and worst parts of a couple's relationship. Over the course of their relationship, this couple navigates love, loss and everything in between. It’s a comedic yet timeless story told only through the Post It notes that they wrote to each other.
 
Sure Thing directed by Jacqueline Zurow
This show is about two people who meet by chance at a cafe. The two get to talking, but it’s hard to keep up a conversation because every time they say something negative to each other, a bell rings and they have to restart their conversation. This play is super funny and cute!

Enjoy Ellie's Pancakes, IHOP flavored syrups, HITZ Pizza’s Fruit Salad & Scrambled Eggs, plus Sausage, Desserts, OJ, Milk, Coffee, and more. $8.00 per person or $24.00 for the whole family.
