36th Annual Holiday Craft Boutique will be held November 4th, 9 am to 3 pm
at Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 30 Riverwoods Road, Lincolnshire.
(Between Route 22 and Deerfield Rd., call 847-945-1550).  Enjoy beautiful
gifts for the holidays and all occasions from over 50 vendors.   Admission
is Free, if possible please bring a non-perishable food item to be donated
to local food pantries.

Vernon Hills High School & Hawthorn Middle School Orchestra

The Vernon Hills High School Orchestras along with the Hawthorn Middle School Orchestras will unite for one spectacular night of music making on: November 1st at 7:30PM in the VHHS Gymnasium.   400 talented musicians will fill the gymnasium at Vernon Hills High School to perform works of Warlock, Beethoven, and Dvorak. Guest conductor Brian Groner will lead this massive ensemble in a creative collaboration that will include Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue performed by Dr. William Crowle.
Brian Groner is the Music Director of the Fox Valley Symphony in Wisconsin, The Conductor of the Symphony Session at the Birch Creek Music Center in Door County, Wisconsin, Artistic Director for the Midwest Mozart Festival and was recently named Music Director if the Fox Valley Orchestra in Illinois.

It’s the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959. Boston’s Colonial Theatre is host to the opening night performance of a new musical. When the leading lady mysteriously dies on stage the entire cast & crew are suspects. Enter a local detective, who just happens to be a musical theatre fan! A hilarious journey for both performers and the audience, the original Broadway production garnered 8 nominations at the 2007 Tony Awards including Best Musical. 
Shows are 2 Weekends-  
Oct 27 and Oct 28
Nov. 3 and Nov 4
at The Auditorium of Vernon Hills High School at 7:00 pm.  
Senior Citizen Performance and Dinner is on Thurs. Nov 2  from  3:30 pm - 7 pm
