College of Lake County offers more than 200 late-starting fall classes
The Fall Semester began Aug. 21, but there’s still time to register for more than 200 late-starting classes at the College of Lake County.
From English composition and biology to business and technology, dozens of general education, transfer and career classes start in September or later and finish by mid-December or sooner. Aug. 23-24: Community invited to give input on next CLC president
As part of the search process for a new president of the College of Lake County, the Pauly Group, Inc. will hold a series of interactive community sessions Aug. 23 and 24 at the college’s three campuses.
Angela Provart, president of Pauly Group, will lead an interactive session during which community members are invited to give input on the characteristics needed in the next CLC president.
Please join one of three conversations:

  • Grayslake Campus: Aug. 23, 5:30-6:30 p.m. in Mainstage Theatre, James Lumber Center, 19351 W. Washington St.
  • Lakeshore Campus, Waukegan: Aug. 24, 10-10:45 a.m., Room 008, 1 North Genesee St.

New productivity and time management certificate
Learn 21st century time-management tips and boost your productivity in a new, non-credit productivity and time-management certificate available at the College of Lake County. The online courses include Time and Productivity Management (Sept. 5-29) and two new courses: Productivity eTools (Oct. 2-27) and Managing Productivity (Nov. 6 to Dec. 1). Take the courses individually, or sign up for all three for a discounted $595.
Online business management certificate for current and emerging leaders
Discover the keys to effectively managing employees in an online business management certificate program at the College of Lake County. The courses include Management Boot Camp (Sept. 5-29), Collaborative Management (Oct. 2-27) and Managing Generations in the Workplace (Nov. 6 to Dec. 1). Take the courses individually, or sign up for all three for a discounted $595.
Google tools for business
Learn how to use Google Analytics to monitor website traffic and build sales, and discover the advantages of the many Google apps for business, in two online, non-credit courses offered through the College of Lake County’s Workforce and Professional Development Institute. Each course, Google Analytics (Sept. 5-29) and Google Apps for Business (Oct. 2-27) can be accessed 24/7 and costs $195.
