The Village of Vernon Hills, along with all local, State and Federal partners and healthcare experts, continues to monitor and receive updates regarding the COVID-19 virus (Coronavirus), including appropriate processes and procedures. In an eﬀort to help keep the community informed, we will post updates and resources as they become available.
Vernon Hills residents, businesses and visitors are directed to Governor Pritzker’s state-wide emergency Stay-at-Home Order, which began Saturday, March 21. Please note that Village essential services remain operational, though buildings such as Village Hall, Public Works and the Police Station are closed to visitors. Advanced Disposal will be adjusting their workforce and practicing the protocols and recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control. In terms of collection services, Advanced provides a public health service and will continue to deliver essential services, as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Loose items outside a container will not be collected
Bulk item pick up/collection is suspended until further notice
