Pet Vaccination and Microchip Clinic (2020 Event Cancelled)

The 2019 Pet Vaccination & Microchip Clinic was held on
Saturday, May 11.

Recap of the 2019 Clinic

At the Pet Vaccination and Microchip Clinic held on May 11, 2019, the owners of 331 pets took advantage of a great low-cost opportunity to have their pets vaccinated and microchipped. In fact, even though the clinic didn't begin until 9:00 a.m., some people were at the facility at 7:30 a.m. to avoid the wait. To say the least it was an amazing turn-out. (Actually, the turnout was tow animals better than the previous high of 329 animals in 2018.)

To accommodate the expected large crowd (and to guard against inclement weather), the clinic was held at the spacious Vernon Hills Public Works facility.

Although we hosted the event, its success would not have been possible without the assistance and cooperation of the people at Lake County Animal Care & Control. Also, a big thanks to the Vernon Hills Public Works Department for the use of the facility.

Even though our next clinic won't be held until spring, 2020, you don't have to wait until then to have your pet microchipped. Click here for information on other clinics that will be held in Lake County.
