Spring 2019 CPA - Week 10

Graduation Night

This has been a fast 10 weeks!  A few months ago these ten Vernon Hills residents walked into the police department with only a vague idea of what they were getting themselves into.  They now have a better idea of what law enforcement (especially in Vernon Hills) is like.

On this final night the class took a review quiz. Afterwards, there was some great discussion as the answers were reviewed. As you can see from the pictures below, many of the participants family members were on hand to celebrate the final night (and help us eat the cake).

As he did on the first night, Chief Patrick Kreis addressed the group. After administering the oath to the class (as ambassadors for the Vernon Hills Police Department), the Chief had the honor of presenting each participant with a certificate, a CPA Alumni shirt and a mug. Many relatives and friends of the participants were also in attendance.

It has been an honor (and a lot of fun) to spend the last 10 weeks getting to know this newest group of CPA graduates. We couldn’t be more proud of them!
