RESOLUTION 2003-96

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DESIGN ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CIVILTECH ENGINEERING FOR THE PROPOSED SITE IMPROVEMENTS AT THE NIKE 6A SITE IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $32,449.00, SUBJECT TO VILLAGE ATTORNEYS APPROVAL.

WHEREAS, The Village of Vernon Hills’ President and Board of Trustees desire to make improvements to the Nike Base property;

WHEREAS, the Village of Vernon Hills desire to make improvements such as a parking lot and recreational path on the 6A site;

WHEREAS, a design engineering services agreement is needed to redevelop the Nike 6A site;

WHEREAS, representatives of the Village have contracted with Civiltech Engineering, Inc. to perform professional design engineering services;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

That the Village Manager is authorized to make payments to Civiltech Engineering, Inc. for the Nike Redevelopment, 6A site in the amount not to exceed $32,449.00, subject to Village Attorney’s approval.
