A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
PAYMENT OF $20,000 TO THE LAKE COUNTY,
ILLINOIS CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU
WHEREAS, the Village Board would
like to enhance demand for the Village’s hotels and motels; and
WHEREAS, the Lake County, Illinois
Convention & Visitors Bureau promotes tourism to Vernon Hills which
enhances demand for the Village’s hotels and motels; and
WHEREAS, the budgeted payment to
the Lake County, Illinois Convention and Visitors Bureau is $20,000 and
therefore, Board approval is required in order to make this payment;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED
BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE
COUNTY, ILLINOIS: THAT, the Finance Department is authorized to make a payment to the Lake
County, Illinois Convention & Visitors Bureau in the amount of $20,000.
