A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
APPROVAL OF AN ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR THE DESIGN OF THE FAIRWAY
DRIVE BUFFER ADJACENT TO CENTENNIAL CROSSING
WHEREAS, the President and Board of
Trustees for the Village of Vernon Hills, Illinois on May 16, 2000 approved a
$145,000 construction budget for a buffer (fence and landscaping) on the west
side of Fairway Drive from Huron Street to the Vernon Hills Athletic Complex; and
WHEREAS, the staff and Civiltech, Inc.
met three times in 2001 with residents of Centennial Crossing and two meetings
were held in 2002 by the Village Board; and
WHEREAS, now that grading has been
completed and the bikepath constructed and fences have been installed adjacent
to Fairway Drive; and
WHEREAS, Civiltech, Inc. has provided an
agreement for professional services to complete the design, plans, and bid
documents for the buffer (fence and landscaping); and
WHEREAS, the agreement for professional
services is established at a maximum not to exceed amount of $12,983.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
THAT the Civiltech Engineering, Inc.
Engineering Services Agreement for engineering services dated November 20, 2003
is approved and the Village Manager is authorized to sign said agreement; and
THAT, a Purchase Order is issued to
Civiltech Engineering, Inc. and the Village Manger is authorized to make
payments.
