RESOLUTION 2003-179

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE PORT CLINTON @ TIF PROJECT FOR PAYMENTS TO MANHARD CONSULTING, INC. NOT TO EXCEED $131,800.00

WHEREAS, The Village Board desires to improve the northeast corner of Route 21 and Route 45.

WHEREAS, the Village Board has approved the creation of a Tax Increment Financing District (TIF).

WHEREAS, professional engineering services are desired to prepare plans and specifications for the Port Clinton Road and the Route 21 and Route 45 intersections.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

That the Village President is authorized to execute the Agreement for Professional Services for the Port Clinton Road and the Route 21 and Route 45 intersections and commit the Village to make payments to Manhard Consulting, Inc. not to exceed $131,800.00, subject to the review and approval of the Village Attorney and Village Engineer.
