RESOLUTION 2003-176

A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 2003-75, INCREASING PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,274.80 TO CURRAN CONTRACTING COMPANY FOR THE 2003 STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT FROM $454,020.50 TO AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $554,295.30.

WHEREAS, The President and Board of Trustees desire to maintain the Village’s infrastructure;

WHEREAS, The President and Board of Trustees approved $900,000 for the 2003 Street Rehabilitation Program;

WHEREAS, Curran Contracting Company has requested payment for additional work needed to complete the project;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

That the Village Manager is authorized to increase payment to Chicagoland Paving in the amount not to exceed $101,274.80 for the 2003 Street Rehabilitation Program from $454,020.50 to $554,295.30.
