RESOLUTION 2003-174

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS AND KB HOME ILLINOIS, INC. FOR SNOW PLOWING SERVICES IN THE GREGG’S LANDING SUBDIVISION

WHEREAS, the Village has been requested by KB Home Illinois, Inc., developer for Gregg’s Landing, to provide snow plowing services and to remove snow on an as needed basis from public streets within the Gregg’s Landing subdivision;

WHEREAS, the Village has prepared an agreement to provide plowing services;

WHEREAS, the agreement requires that KB Home Illinois, Inc. will be responsible for any damage to curbs, paving or mailboxes caused by the Village’s activities;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

That the Village Manager is authorized to execute an agreement with KB Home Illinois, Inc. for snow plowing services in the Gregg’s Landing subdivision.
