RESOLUTION  2003 -153

 

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF A.A. EQUIPMENT RENTAL, INC. TO FURNISH EQUIPMENT, MATERIAL, AND LABOR FOR THE HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW IN THE AMOUNT $26,500.

 

                     WHEREAS, A.A. Equipment Rental, Inc. is considered a sole source or a source determined by the Village Manager to be beneficial to the Village for provision of material and labor to set up and wire Christmas light displays and provide the use of generators for the Holiday Light Show; and

 

                     WHEREAS, the Village of Vernon Hills will issue purchase order to A.A. Equipment Rental, Inc. in the amount of $26,500.00; and

 

         WHEREAS, all purchases over $10,000 require Board of Trustee

approval.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

 

That, the Village Manager is authorized to commit the Village to make payments to A.A. Equipment Rental, Inc. not to exceed $26,500.00.
