RESOLUTION 2003-152

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL AND PAYMENT OF SALES TAX INTERRUPTION INSURANCE FOR WESTFIELD-HAWTHORN CENTER AND THREE SURROUNDING CENTERS NOT TO EXCEED $38,000.

WHEREAS, it is beneficial to the Village to have Sales Tax Interruption Insurance on Westfield-Hawthorn Center, CDW, Marketplace Plaza, Sam’s Club; and

WHEREAS, the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies offers this kind of policy through our agent; and

WHEREAS, all purchases over $10,000 require Board of Trustee approval; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

THAT, the Village Manager is authorized to execute contracts to commit the Village to make payments to R.W. Troxell not to exceed $38,000 and authorize the Finance Director to release the check prior to it appearing on the invoice approval list.
