RESOLUTION 2003-150

A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 2003-102 TO SUPERIOR ROAD STRIPING FOR THERMOPLASTIC PAVEMENT LANE MARKING TO INCREASE THE PURCHASE ORDER 1220 TO $23,068.23

WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees for the Village of Vernon Hills, Illinois award the Northwest Municipal Conference bid for the 2003 thermoplastic pavement lane marking to Superior Road Striping; and

WHEREAS, $20,000 was budgeted in account 0209059-550050 for such work; and

WHEREAS, The Village of Vernon Hills issued purchase order 1220 in the amount of $20,000 to Superior Road Striping for thermoplastic pavement lane marking; and

WHEREAS, additional areas were found necessary to be restriped (east and west bound Phillip Road with new left and right turn lanes to alleviate traffic flow problems and an area 50’ south of Rt. 60 at Aspen Drive to eliminate traffic turning into a private driveway); and

WHEREAS, the Village of Vernon Hills approves the Finance Director to increase purchase order 1220 to the amount of $23,068.23; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
