A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
CERTAIN LOTS IN GREGG’S LANDING FROM THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS TO THE VERNON
HILLS PARK DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Village of Vernon Hills approved the
development commonly known as Gregg’s Landing: and
WHEREAS, Gregg’s Landing contains lots,
commonly referred to as the Lake Charles park lots which, pursuant to the
Annexation Agreement, was to be deeded to the Village of Vernon Hills; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Vernon Hills, upon receipt of the Lake Charles park
lots, is to deed them to the Vernon Hills Park District; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees are now prepared to deed Lake
Charles park lots to the Park District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT
AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, COUNTY OF LAKE AND STATE
OF ILLINOIS,
THAT, the
Village President and Village Clerk be and the same are hereby authorized to
execute the
Quit Claim
Deeds as attached in Exhibit A thereby transferring ownership of Lake Charles
park lots to
the Vernon
Hills Park District.
