RESOLUTION 2003-139
WHEREAS, The Village of
Vernon Hills’ President and Board of Trustees and School Districts 103, 125 and
128 desire to redevelop the Nike Base property;
WHEREAS, the Village of
Vernon Hills wishes to complete the Nike, phase II landscaping at the
recreational facility; OR CHANGE TO: “on the Village parcels;
WHEREAS, Valley Crest
Landscape Development has provided a proposal for landscape management
services;
WHEREAS, the Village of
Vernon Hills desires to enter into a monthly contract with Valley Crest to
complete the landscaping work;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
That
the Village Manager is authorized to execute a contract to commit the Village
to make payments to Valley Crest Landscape Development in the amount not to
exceed $28,000.
