RESOLUTION 2003-124

A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 2000-27, INCREASING PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,800.00 TO CIVILTECH ENGINEERING, INC. FOR THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE LAKEVIEW PARKWAY/FAIRWAY DRIVE INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT & TRAFFIC SIGNAL DESIGN TO A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $35,212.00.

WHEREAS, The Village of Vernon Hills desire to install a traffic signal at the intersection of Lakeview Parkway and Fairway Drive;

WHEREAS, Civiltech Engineering, Inc. provided professional services for the plan and bid document preparation for said traffic signal and intersection improvements;

WHEREAS, Civiltech Engineering, Inc. has requested payment for work that was requested beyond their scope and increase in hours they provided;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

That the Village Manager is authorized to increase payment to Civiltech Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $4,800.00 for the Lakeview/Fairway Intersection Improvement & Traffic Signal Design for a total amount not to exceed $35,212.00.
