RESOLUTION 2003-123

EXECUTING A CONTRACT WITH TRIGGI CONSTRUCTION, INC.

FOR THE 2003 SIDEWALK – STREET REHABILITATION PROGRAM

IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $85,000.00.

WHEREAS, The President and Board of Trustees desire to maintain the Village’s infrastructure;

WHEREAS, The Village budgeted $85,000.00 for the 2003 Sidewalk Improvement Project and $40,000.00 for the Midway and Lindon Roadway Project;

WHEREAS, the 2003 Sidewalk – Street Rehabilitation Program plans were publicly bid and opened on July 29, 2003 with Triggi Construction of West Chicago, Illinois, submitting the lowest qualified bid;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

That the Village Manager is authorized to execute a contract and to make payments to Triggi Construction for 2003 Sidewalk – Street Rehabilitation Program in the amount not to exceed $85,000.00.
