RESOLUTION 2003- 122

 

A RESOLUTION AMENDING RES. 2003-106 AWARDING THE BID TO AMERICAN NATIONAL SKYLINE, INC. FOR THE WINDOW CLEANING CONTRACT OF VILLAGE PROPERTY WITH A TWO YEAR CONTRACT

 

 

            WHEREAS, the Village of Vernon Hills Public Works Department budgeted $14,700 for this fiscal year in account #0102046-520600 (and account #s 48,49,85) for the contractual service of cleaning interior and exterior windows on 5 Village buildings; and

 

            WHEREAS, bids for a two year contract were opened June 23, 2003 and one bid was received and American National Skyline, Inc. was the low bidder;

 

            WHEREAS, Resolution 2003-106 awarded the bid and authorized the Village Manager to sign a contract with American National Skyline, Inc. for the FY2003-04 and FY2004-05 for a total amount of $13,164.00; and the purchase order was to be paid out in the amount of $4,388 for the remainder of the scheduled FY2003-04 window cleaning and a 2nd  purchase order was to be issued in the amount of $8,766 for the scheduled FY2004-05 window cleaning and the Village Manager is authorized to make payments.

 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

 

That a Purchase Order will be issued to American National Skyline Inc. in the amount of $6,582.00 for the remainder of the scheduled FY2003-04 window cleaning and an a 2nd Purchase Order will be issued in the amount of $6,582.00 for the scheduled FY2004-05 window cleaning to allow for the corect division of payments into the 2 fiscal years at issue and the Village Manager is authorized to make such payments.
