RESOLUTION 2003-116

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $7,575.59 FROM MACHINERY & MAJOR TOOL ACCOUNT TO DELEGATED MGMT SVC ACCOUNT FY 2002/2003 BUDGET

WHEREAS, the Village of Vernon Hills is now a member of J.U.L.I.E. and we did not anticipate the extremely large volume of locates which were received and exceeded original estimate; and

WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has seen an increase in damage to Village street light cables/conduit and light poles in which outside contractors assisted our department with the repairs; and

WHEREAS, $9,000 was budgeted for these services and the final account expenditure was $16,575.59; and

WHEREAS, funds are needed in the Delegated Mgmt Svc account to cover the overage of these services used in 2002/2003 budget year; and

WHEREAS, funds were not used in the Machinery & Major Tool account in budget year 2002/2003.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS: THAT, the Finance Director is directed to transfer $7,575.59 from Machinery & Major Tool account (0102040-540040) to Delegated Mgmt Svc account (0102052-520620).
