RESOLUTION 2003 - 112

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO DOYLE DISTRIBUTORS FOR BEER AND WINE COOLERS SOLD AT SUMMER CELEBRATION IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $16,000

WHEREAS, Doyle Distributors is the vendor which will provide the beer, wine coolers and cups for Summer Celebration which runs from July 16 – 20, 2003; and

WHEREAS, their payment is based on actual sales per contract; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

That the Village Manager is authorized to commit the Village to make payments to Doyle Distributors not to exceed $16,000 and the Finance Director is directed to release the check upon the direction of the Chairman or Treasurer of the Summer Celebration Committee.
