RESOLUTION 2003-106

A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID TO AMERICAN NATIONAL SKYLINE, INC. FOR THE WINDOW CLEANING CONTRACT OF VILLAGE PROPERTY WITH A TWO YEAR CONTRACT

WHEREAS, the Village of Vernon Hills Public Works Department budgeted $14,700 for this fiscal year in account #0102046-520600 (and account #s 48,49,85) for the contractual service of cleaning interior and exterior windows on 5 Village buildings; and

WHEREAS, bids for a two year contract were opened June 23, 2003 and one bid was received and American National Skyline, Inc. was the low bidder;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

That the bid is awarded and the Village Manager is authorized to sign a contract with American National Skyline, Inc. for the years 2003-2004 for a total amount of $13,164.00; and

That a Purchase Order will be issued to American National Skyline Inc. in the amount of $4,388.00 for the remainder of the scheduled 2003 window cleaning and an a 2nd Purchase Order will be issued in the amount of $8,776.00 for the scheduled 2004 window cleaning and the Village Manger is authorized to make payments.
