A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF $21,600 FROM FINANCE FULL-TIME SALARIES TO FINANCE PART-TIME
SALARIES
WHEREAS, the Village’s approved
FY2003-04 budget identified $195,000 of
savings from a hiring freeze; and
WHEREAS, that hiring freeze
included three actual full-time positions that would not be filled at all, as
well as, within the Finance Department, the substitution of a part-time
position for a full-time position; and
WHEREAS, by substituting a
part-time position in the Finance Department for a Full-time position, the
Village saves $31,000 in salary and benefits in FY2003-04; and
WHEREAS, a transfer of funds from
full-time salaries to part-time salaries is needed to budget for this change;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED
BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS, LAKE
COUNTY, ILLINOIS: THAT, the Finance Director is directed to transfer $21,600 from Finance
Full-Time Salaries (0101005-500010) to Finance Part-Time Salaries
(0101005-500030).
