MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING

OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF VERNON HILLS

HELD JULY 1, 2003

A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF PHILLIPS ROAD, EAST OF DEERPATH DRIVE ON BEHALF OF COUNTRYSIDE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT.

In attendance: President Byrne; Trustees Cashman, Duros, Hebda, Koch, Weil, Williams; Village Manager Allison; Assistant Village Manager Kalmar; Asst. to the Village Manager Teich; Finance Director Nakrin; Police Chief Fleischhauer; Public Works Director Laudenslager; Building Commissioner Gerth; Village Attorney Citron and Deputy Village Clerk Pelletier.

President Byrne called to order at 7:00 p.m. the public hearing to consider the vacation of a portion of the right-of-way of Phillips Road, east of Deerpath Drive on behalf of Countryside Fire Protection District. No one requested to speak on the manner; so President Byrne requested to adjourn the public hearing. Motion by Trustee Cashman, second by Trustee Williams to adjourn the public hearing. Roll call vote:

Ayes: 6- Cashman, Duros, Hebda, Koch, Weil, Williams

Nays: 0-None

Absent: 0-None

Motion declared carried.

President Byrne adjourned the hearing at 7:03 p.m.
