MINUTES

COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING

VILLAGE OF VERNON HILLS

MARCH 12, 2003

IN ATTENDANCE: President Byrne called the meeting to order at 7:13 p.m. The following Trustees were present: Duros, Hebda, Henley, Williams, Cashman.

Also present were Manager Allison, Chief Fleischhauer, Finance Director Nakrin, Village Attorney Citron, and Village Clerk Schwartz.

1. APPROVAL OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES

Motion by Trustee Williams, second by Trustee Henley to approve the 1/07/03, 2/04/03, and 2/18/03 Committee of the Whole minutes and 2/12/03 and 2/25/03 Special Committee Minutes. Roll call vote:

AYES: 5 – Cashman, Duros, Hebda, Henley, Williams

NAYS: 0 – None

ABSENT: 1 – Koch

Motion declared carried.

2. FISCAL YEAR 2003-04 BUDGET

Trustee Cashman asked about work to be done on Seavey. Manager Allison reported that some work will be done this year to improve flow. Trustee Cashman confirmed with Finance Director Nakrin that money is in the budget for maintenance on all village owned buildings including the golf course.

3. ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Trustee Henley, second by Trustee Duros to adjourn the Committee of the Whole meeting and go into executive session for the purpose of land acquisition and litigation. Roll call vote:

AYES: 5 – Duros, Hebda, Henley, Williams, Cashman

NAYS: 0 – None

ABSENT: 1 – Koch

Motion declared carried.
