Parking Restrictions Due To Snow

If there's more than 2 inches of snow, move your car!According to Village Ordinance 22-321, vehicles cannot be parked on Village streets for 12 hours after a snowfall of two inches or more. While this may serve as a minor inconvenience to some residents, it is absolutely necessary to have a free path for our snow plows to clear the streets in a timely fashion.

Don't shovel throw that snow in the steet! In addition, according to Ordinance 22-325, it is illegal to plow, shovel or otherwise place snow from your property (i.e. driveway or parking lot) onto any Village street or sidewalk. While we understand it may mean a little extra work for residents or business owners, the plow drivers don't need to contend with extra snow on the roads.

Your compliance with these snow-related laws is appreciated in advance. Together, we can make the winter-time pass quicker if we all do our part to make snow removal a quick and painless process.
