Reporting Pot Holes & Road Repairs

One of the many responsibilities of the Public Works Department is road maintenance. Pot holes will and do form in roads for many reasons.
Please feel free to use our Citizen Report to report any pot holes you encounter on Village roadways. In addition to your name and phone number, which is helpful so that we may contact you in the event we are unable to locate the hole you are reporting, an exact location will assist our crew in finding the pot hole.
As always you may call the department directly Monday through Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm at 847-367-3726.
Please note: There are several different entities that maintain roads in Vernon Hills. If you come across a pot hole on either a State or County roadway please click on the provided website click to find out how to file a claim with IDOT or Lake County DOT.
