There are four Dial-A-Ride services that operate in portions of the Village of Vernon Hills and two fixed route transit services - Route 272 goes south to Niles and Route 572 goes north to Gurnee.
The following provides information and links to the four Dial-A-Ride services and two fixed route services.
Vernon Hills/Mundelein Call-n-Ride
This is a new service that provided reserved rides to portions of Vernon Hills and Mundelein. For more detail from PACE, click on:

Vernon Hills Senior Shuttle
The Vernon Hills Senior shuttle provides reserved rides at no cost to Vernon Hills adults 55 and over within the service area noted on the map. The origination ride must be within the Village of Vernon Hills; however, service extends to the areas noted on the map. Hours of operation are from 8:30AM to 2:30PM.
There are specific days designated for medical related trips and trips for shopping. Please call 847-367-3700 for a reservation or more information.
Vernon Township Dial A Ride

Seniors - $1 each way
Adults - $2 each way
Monday-Friday – 8:30am – 3:30pm
Must be a Vernon Township resident (south of Route 60)
Pick up at home to destination in Vernon Township
Libertyville Township Dial A Ride
Call 24 hours in advance for reservations and more information – 847-223-9412 (Pace Dial A Ride subsidized by Libertyville Township)
For seniors and disabled only - $1 each way
Monday-Friday – 9-4:30pm
Must be a Libertyville Township resident (north of Route 60)
Pick up at home to destination in Libertyville Township
