August 4, 2010 - Despite the heat (and humidity), yesterday's National Night Out was a huge success - again!  It's estimated that over 1,100 people attended this year's event.  800 hamburgers, over 400 hot dogs, more than 1300 bags of chips/snacks and over 1600 waters, sodas and juices were doled out to the waiting (and patient) masses.  Crafts were created, games were played and pictures were taken.  The fire department, as promised, soaked any and all who enetered the ball fields.  Fun, fun, fun!

We want to thank all of our sponsors, especially A-Z Entertainment and Target, as well as our own members of the police department.  Volunteers are all that keep this event going and we couldn't have done it without them!
