October 15, 2011 - Members of FOP Lodge 34 quickly gathered around this fund-raising effort, as it proved to be a fun social event as well as a a means to raise money for the Jesse Goldsmith Scholarship Fund, which was started to honor a dear friend and former officer who passed from this earth much too soon.
Although this event was not open to the public, it was able to raise close to $5,500 in its first year. Much thanks goes to Officer Dan Mead for his efforts in coordinating the event, as well as Officer Jim Koch for his assistance in securing donations. Officers Lynch, Spencer and Sosnoski were also on hand to help make the night go as smooth as possible.
