At the Vernon Hills Police Department, we pride ourselves on the amount of charitable work we do for several causes throughout the community and beyond. The Special Olympics, The Sentinels of Freedom and the Jesse Goldsmith Scholarship Fund are the causes most near and dear to us. New in 2012 was the St. Baldrick's Foundation, who supports children's cancer research. Every year, we participate in several fundraisers in order to raise money for these worthwhile causes.
