 Hearing impaired individuals can reach the Vernon Hills Police Department's TTY machine by dialing 847-549-9275 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
A call to this line will result in the telecommunicator automatically placing the telephone receiver into the TTY machine and proceeding with established TTY protocol.
PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT use this line for any other purposes, as a voice will not register through the machine and the operator will disconnect the phone. If you are not hearing impaired and you need police service, call 9-1-1 and speak with a telecommunicator. For non-emergency inquiries, call 847-362-4449.
