Planning & Zoning Commission Vacancy

The Village is seeking applications to fill a vacancy on the planning and Zoning Commission. Interested persons should send a letter of interest along with a cover letter to the attention of Michael S. Allison, Village Manager, 290 Evergreen Drive, Vernon Hills, IL 60061. The committee meets on Wednesday evenings as necessary at 7:30 PM at the Village Hall
The Commission consists of seven (7) members and serves as an advisory body to the Board of Trustees. The Commission's duties including reviewing development projects for compliance to various zoning ordinance regulations and comprehensive plan, review of site and landscaping plans for new development, amendments to the Village's Zoning Ordinance and Comprehensive Plan and special land use related studies as needed.
