Advanced Disposal Yard Waste Program 2017

This year you have three (3) options to choose from. The season will begin on April 1st and end on November 28, 2017.

Option 1: Subscription Service: Service will begin on April 1st and ends on November 28th. You will need to call Advanced Disposal to sign up for this option before May 31, 2017. The flat rate will be $100.00 for the season. You will need to prepay with a credit card or check by phone at the time service is set up.

Option 2:Mid-season Service: Service will begin August 1st and end on November 28th. You will need to call Advanced Disposal to sign up by August 31, 2017. The flat rate will be $75.00 for this part of the season. You will need to prepay with a credit card or check by phone at the time service is set up

Option 1 and 2 Guidelines
• Weekly curbside service to include pick up of (6) six properly prepared containers serviced on your regular pick up day, Monday or Tuesday
• Approved containers are biodegradable Kraft paper bags and/or 32 gallon size cans clearly marked with an “X” to denote yard waste, or bundles of small twigs or branches (less than 4” in diameter).
• Each bag,can or bundle can not exceed 50 pound weight limit.
• If you are going to exceed the six (6) bag limit each additional bag must have a pre-paid sticker on it.

Option 3: Yard Waste Sticker/Pay as you throw program.
• One (1) sticker per can, bag or bundle as described above. Each sticker costs $2.00.
• Stickers may be purchased from the Village Hall, Sullivan Community Center, Mariano’s Fresh Market, and Walgreens on Townline Road or by calling Advanced Disposal Customer Service at (847) 623-3870 and requesting a minimum of ten (10) stickers to be mailed and billed to the customer’s account.

Please remember Advanced Disposal will not be responsible if the bags are too heavy and/or they break, as we may be unable to service them until they are properly prepared. Also, please keep in mind weather conditions when placing your yard waste at the curb. If rain is in the forecast, please do not put your yard waste out until 7:00 a.m. the day of your service.

NOTE: The following items are not acceptable yard waste material. These items may be placed in your normal refuse cart: Sod, Dirt, Mulch, Hay, Nuts, Rocks, Fruit, Corn Stalks or Animal Waste.
